Fact-checking is admitting that people make mistakes. To avoid having to make corrections, GenBiz aims to use trustworthy sources. If a publication makes a claim without support, we will search for more background and determine if we can use the statement in our reporting. We will not repurpose conspiracy or satire to be called fact. If a reader, advisor or co-worker fact-checks our publication, we will learn from the mistake and do better the next time.
