Gottlieb noted that in today’s video-call business culture, “you could literally be on any local news station in the entire country from your living room right now.” She encourages folks to take a chance and take advantage of those local opportunities.

Sharing the harder moments and social media can be a great way to build a real relationship with your audience. “There are so many ways to be able to connect deeper by sharing more of the messy parts of your life,” she said.
